Austrain Academy would like to advise we are monitoring the COVID-19 situation and are complying with any Public Health Order (PHO) requirements and current advice from Government and NSW Health.
We will comply with any requirements to have Service NSW QR code sign in (encouraged but optional when not mandated by a PHO) ; mask use (unless medically exempted) (encouraged but optional when not mandated by a PHO) and mandatory double Covid vaccination proof for all visitors to site. Compliance is checked by staff prior to entry.

In the interests of student, staff and community welfare, the following procedures will be in place:

Upon attendance at training please adhere to the sign in procures that will be displayed at the entry

Wearing a correctly fitted mask is encouraged at all times but only mandatory when required by a PHO

Numbers of students in any one place will be limited. Students will be placed in small groups with ample space to practice social distancing.

Multiple hand washing and hand sanitising stations will be available.

Notify us via phone or email if you are unwell and do not attend training.

Practice the following:
-
clean your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water, or use an alcohol-based sanitiser with at least 60% alcohol

cover your sneeze or cough with your elbow or with tissue
-
avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
-
stay home if you are sick or have been overseas or are awaiting Covid test results - phone or email Austrain Academy to let us know and seek medical advice
To attend Austrain Academy face to face training sessions:

Be fully vaccinated for COVID 19 (and be able to provide proof in an acceptable format) OR
-
Have a documented medical exemption (Evidence of your medical exemption must be
from a medical practitioner in the form approved by the NSW Chief Health Officer.)

Be well and not displaying any Covid-19 symptoms or cold or flu symptoms

Not awaiting Covid test results or attended a destination designated a
“hot spot” under Public Health orders in the last 14 days
Inform us via email, SMS or phone call prior to your training session if you are unwell
or a close contact of a confirmed Covid-19 case and we will advise the next steps.
Please note - If you are an apprentice or trainee, your training contract and training can continue for six months even if you don't have an employer. Please contact us if you are in this situation.
